Recent News

Travels to the East Coast this Spring took Dave to Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.  Speaking at St. John's UMC in Fruitland MD (pastored by Dave's brother, Paul), Bethel UMC in Dagsboro MD (pastored by Dr. Joe Barth), 1st Wesleyan Church of Vineland NJ (pastored by Rev. Basil Watson), Carney's Point Wesleyan in Carney's Point NJ (pastored by Rev. Dave Anderson), and visiting Dr. Anthony Graham at New Hope Family Worship Center in Brooklyn NY and the Retallack family in Dover PA to encourage each of them, and finishing home-schooling for Madison made for a VERY BUSY Spring.  Dave was accompanied on his travels in New Jersey and New York by his prayer partner, Tom VanOrden. We also spoke to a group of friends in Lexington KY in June, hosted by Jen's prayer partner, Joan Darby.  We are grateful to our personal prayer partners for their on-going support and friendship.

Both of our girls were able to spend some time away in July.  Madison attended a week-long Elementary Discipleship Camp at Aldersgate Camp in Irvine KY.  She learned to dig deeper into God's Word and enjoyed lots of activities in the beauty of God's creation. 

Lizzy participated in the COS Youth Missions Trip to Tunica MS.  They conducted a Vacation Bible School and ministered to children through other activities as well.

Both girls grew in their faith during this time away from home, but were glad to see Mom & Dad again when all was said and done.

PRAYER REQUESTS & PRAISES

 

1.  Pray for our safety and effective ministry while we travel this summer through many states. 

2.  Pray that funding would come in quickly so that we can do the work we are called to do in Mexico City.

3.  Praise God for the newly appointed OMS field leader in Mexico, David Cosby.  Pray for his effective leadership of the OMS-Mexico team

4.  Praise God for the successful surgery and recovery of OMS-Mexico team member, Margaret Neff.

5.  Pray for OMS-Mexico team members, Leroy & Kay Lindsey, as they transition to ministry in the U.S.

6.  Pray for pastors and lay leaders training at SEMBIMEX to lead the growing number of UNIFAM churches.
